What does this organization do?
The Bezirksamt is a public authority. It takes care of important tasks in the district of Spandau. For example, in the fields of economy, education, health and free time. The Bezirksamt also includes the Jugendamt (youth welfare office) and the Gesundheitsamt (health department). The youth welfare office helps children, young people and parents with problems and emergency situations. The health department gives advice about health questions.
